Asos Clearance Sale

After many hours of searching through Asos' awesome clearance sale I narrowed my selection down to these 5. I have less choice than most peeps as I have to go with the XS or XXS sizes haha. But I got this lot for a bargin price of £58. I recommend you take a look soon as the prices are droppin' but the good stuff is goin'. I wanted a few more tailored shirts with some cool detailing but I had to stick to my budget. Maybe next week after payday (If they're still there!).

Misbehave Varsity Jacket

This Varsity Jacket is from the brand Misbehave. It’s wonderful really. I’ve never seen the sleeves being the dominant color of a varsity jacket. Usually the more aggressive color is the wool part and the leather sleeves help compliment. It may have been done, but it’s pretty rare. I like that.

Adidas Originals S/S 2010 Street Pack

The Originals’ Spring/Summer 2010 Streetpack is, hmmm…how do you sayyyy?!?!?! BRIGHT! Breaking away from the collaborative efforts, Originals keeps all of the glory for itself with a selection of streetwear pieces that combine eye-popping colour, printed sketches, photo collages and drawings on nylon and jersey fabrics. All in all, Adidas Originals’ Street Pack encourages you to chillout and live a little…life is like a bowl of skittles: you never know when everything you touch will turn into a pile of candy.

Adidas Originals 2010 Spring Nizza High

As part of their 2010 spring campaign, Adidas Originals has slightly revamped their classic Nizza High model with a zipper along the heel. The lightweight basketball kicks come in four very nice colorways, including red, navy (my favorite), blue, and tan. The white midsole and toecap add a bit of contrast to the overall subtle silhouette, making for a clean release. Cop these now via select retailers.

Japan's nari/furi Small Daypack Collection

I love backpacks! Japanese brand nari/furi give us a look at a new selection of Daypack backpack's. Each featuring a minimalistic design and color scheme, the backpacks come in red, royal, and black. Pretty cool huh?

Puma x Alexander McQueen: Black Tech KO

Puma and Alexander McQueen has joined forces to create a collaborative sneaker this season. The two worked on the Black Tech KO, which sports a sleek mixture of materials with a construction similar to that of a boxing boot.

Supra NS 2010 Spring Cuttler Sneaker

As part of their 2010 spring collection, Supra gets prepared to launch an all-new model, the Cuttler. The high-top silhouette comes in both a canvas and leather option and comes in two very lowkey colorways with minimal details. Released March 1st.

TOKYO I MISS YOU!!!!!

To cheer me up, here are a few photo's captured around Omotesando to remind me of what makes Tokyo special.

Is that a pink 4x4 Limousine next-door?

Check out my neighbours new purchase. No its not rented, he actually bought it. It's a pink 4x4 Limo! The Limo's for rent if anyone wants a ride. They've had it for a few weeks but I've only seen it leave the drive once. I'm not surprised as it took them nearly an hour to get it out the gate. Even on Valentines day it sat there un-rented - KAWAII-SO!

Tokyo Return - 74 Days (Can't Wait!)

While I'm back in my hometown of Birmingham UK, I thought I'd capture a few pic's on my way to work. Such a different world from my second-home of Tokyo.

Around St Philips Cathedral I spent a lot of my teenage days just chillin out with my friends, dressed in Emo fashion, listening to music and skateboarding. Even now, especially during the weekends - Emo's, Punks and Rockers fill Pigeon Park around the Cathedral. It reminds me of Harajuku and Omotesando on a Sunday where the Lolita Goth's and Rockabilly Boys come out and strut there stuff.

On the other side of town you have the main shopping area where the Bullring Shopping Centre dominates the city centre and draws in all the shoppers and tourists. St Pauls Cathedral's spire fills the sky and adds a contrast to the modern architecture that surrounds it.

And this is where I spend most of my time lately. I used to work for Fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren and Gucci but now I'm taking some time to learn the Japanese art of cooking. So, set aside from the madness of the Bullring Shopping Centre I make Tempura, Sushi and Teriyaki Chicken haha.

But Birmingham's big blue building where I once worked is still nearby. I still can't decide whether I like its design but it definitely gives Birmingham the facial uplift it needed.

A Tokyoite's Workstation

Here's my workstation where I both work and relax. Surrounded by my movies, models, magazines and music I can sit back and forget about the world around me.

My cat also likes to join in by sleeping on my bed and spreading her cat-fur around my room. Every morning I have to use cello-tape to rid my clothes of her white and black fur, thanks fatso!

Snowy Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park

Time to wrap up warm again. After quite a mild February the snow has begun to fall again in Tokyo. The Meiji Shrine Gate looks beautiful against a white background as visiters enter to visit the Shrine and take a walk around a Narnia-like Yoyogi Park.

Transforming New Era

Here are the Optimus and MegaTron New Era caps. They’re kind of cool I guess. I’d much rather wear Megan Fox’s New Era underwear on my head. Is that weird ? You can buy them for £30. (not the underwear)

Its not just the girls!

With Tokyo's climate warming up, its not just the girls who are shedding the layers. Here's a collection of Tokyo guys found on the streets of Shibuya and Harajuku:

Giga Pudding!

Pudding on the Ritz? The Sahara of desserts? Pudding-zilla? Giga Pudding from Japan's Takara Tomy is the sumo-sized snack that will soon leave you as big & jiggly as IT is!
If you've ever visited Japan, one of the first things you notice is how few fat people there are. Well, that's all about to change, thanks in no small part to Giga Pudding. Basically a huge Cream Caramel about 20 times the size of a normal serving, Giga Pudding puts all those mega and uber puddings to shame - not to mention doing major damage to both the Japanese concept of healthy eating and the cholesterol levels of the eaters. A lean dessert it ain't, in fact Giga Pudding may be a recipe for disaster if there aren't enough mouths to feed.
Think of those sand castles you used to make using buckets of beach sand and you're halfway to understanding the concept behind Giga Pudding. If you need more help, check out the dessert recipe illustrations below - I especially like #5 in which the Giga Pudding pail walks in to a smiling refrigerator that says "welcome". Chill, flip and dump... and get out of the way as the household horde descends, spoons at the ready!

Giga Pudding was a hit at at the annual Tokyo International Gift Show last September and store shelves should be well stocked with bright yellow grinning buckets by now. If you're not able to shop in person and/or are that Half Ton Man from TLC, you can order Giga Pudding from Japanese online retailer Rakuten for 2,780 yen (about £18) plus shipping. Be hungry... be VERY hungry

There's no stopping Tokyo kawaii-ness!

Snow and rain won't dampen the hearts of Tokyo's girls. Here's a collection of just some of these kawaii (Cute) females:

Tokyo is having a cold winter like the rest of the world but at a 9-10 degrees average the coats are starting to come off. But not for long - snow is forecast.
